Q: What is the purpose of the Engineering Design Project?
A: Generally, the purpose of the Engineering Design Project is to introduce Drexel students to the career world of engineering while implementing design and STEM knowledge. The Engineering Design Project is further explained in the "Project Overview" section of this blog.
Q: What pushed you to choose the automatic plant-watering system for your project?
A: On the first day of class, while meeting each other, Ryan told us about how he had worked with his father doing landscaping and how he has an expansive knowledge on irrigation systems. With this (and with our interest in the clear practicality of such a project), we decided to make a plant-watering system.
